Chania joined Helmsman Capital in September 2008 following 12 years working in the audit, recovery, restructuring and business advisory practices of KPMG and subsequently McGrathNicol Corporate Advisory in Australia and London. Her experience spans a range of corporate recovery, restructuring and advisory services and she also spent time on secondment at NM Rothschild (Australia) Ltd.
Chania’s role at Helmsman includes due diligence, transactional support, financial modeling and assisting investee companies with support and guidance in establishing and implementing effective turnaround and development strategies.
Chania hold a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematical Sciences from Oxford University, UK, is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia, an exam qualified member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia and holds a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment, SIA.
